Erik Mickels

Erik Mickels currently serves as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at MarketWise, a digital media and subscription model company focused on financial empowerment, where responsibilities include overseeing financial activities such as controllership, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Prior to joining MarketWise, Erik held various leadership roles at Trilogy International Partners from 2014 to 2023, including Senior Vice President and Group CFO, where significant contributions were made to subscriber growth and financial performance through operational initiatives and cash management. Erik's earlier experience includes assurance and advisory roles at KPMG LLP, where a robust foundation in public accounting was developed while serving notable clients, as well as a position as Senior Associate at Arthur Andersen. Erik is an alum of Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Hillsdale College.
