Tiana Brote is an experienced educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at Marlborough Public Schools since February 2024. Previously, Tiana held the position of Director at Generation Teach from May 2022 to March 2024, and worked as a Science Teacher at Fitchburg Public Schools from August 2021 to July 2022. Tiana also contributed as a Research Assistant at the Wallace Foundation, focusing on out-of-school time equity, and gained valuable experience as a Student Assistant and Public Speaking Tutor at Wellesley College. Additional roles include an internship with the Jail and Prison Advocacy Project, where Tiana worked on initiatives supporting returning citizens, and volunteering at the Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center. Tiana began teaching as a Teaching Fellow at Generation Teach in summer 2019, after completing research on the 2018 Midterm Elections at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Tiana holds a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wellesley College.
