Andrea Samaniego

Andrea Samaniego has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Andrea began their career as a Dish utility/ Line cook/ Hostess at Snowshoe Mountain Ski Resort in 2015. Following that, they worked as a Sales representative at Students Travel Peru in 2016 and as a Logistics and Fulfillment intern at Dell EMC from 2016 to 2017.

In 2017, Andrea interned at Colgate - Palmolive, where they gained experience in Retail Marketing and Indirect Procurement. Their responsibilities included executing marketing campaigns, managing budgets, and supporting procurement processes.

Andrea then joined Samsung Electronics in 2018, where they trained as a Marcom Trainee in the IM Division and as a Marketing Trainee in the Visual Display department. Andrea gained skills in marketing and communication strategies during their time at the company.

In 2019, Andrea worked as a Marketing Specialist at OLX Group, where they coordinated ATL/BTL activities and developed communication strategies for both OLX and Properati brands. Andrea also served as the Committee leader of Diversity & Inclusion, where they developed local initiatives for Peru & Ecuador.

From 2020 to 2021, Andrea worked as a Marketing Specialist at OLX Autos, followed by a role as a #IamRemarkable facilitator at g.co/IamRemarkable. As a facilitator, they hosted workshops and promoted the initiative's goal of empowering women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments.

In 2021, Andrea joined DiDi as a Field Marketing Senior Analyst. Andrea executed creative marketing campaigns, localized communications, and developed in-app communications and mailings to support the CRM strategy. Andrea also played a role in launching product campaigns and supporting acquisition and engagement efforts for drivers in Chile and Peru.

Most recently, Andrea joined Marley Spoon in 2022 as a CRM Manager.

Andrea Samaniego attended Santisimo Nombre de Jesus School from 2001 to 2012. However, no degree or field of study is specified for this period. From 2013 to 2018, they studied at Universidad del Pacífico (PE), where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Business Management. Additionally, Andrea has obtained several certifications: Iterable Foundations Certified from Iterable in August 2022, B1 Goethe Zertifikat from Goethe-Institut e.V. in March 2022, C2 English Certificate from EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in February 2022, and First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge in December 2010.
