Paul Crease

Paul Crease has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Paul is currently working as a Data Science Lead at Marley Spoon since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as a Lead Data Scientist & Engineer at coliquio from November 2018 to June 2021. Paul also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at QiO Technologies Limited from January 2017 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, Paul held the position of Head of Data Science at CloudMade from March 2015 to December 2016, where they focused on developing data mining and machine learning approaches for predictive models in connected vehicles. Paul also worked as a Software Developer/Data Scientist at CloudMade from April 2013 to February 2015.

Before transitioning to the industry, Paul completed their PhD at the University of Zürich, where they worked as a PhD Student from December 2008 to March 2013. Prior to that, they served as a Flood Risk Mapping & Data Officer at the Environment Agency from June 2002 to December 2008.

Paul Crease completed a Master of Science (Part Time) in Geographic Information Science from the University of Nottingham from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a BA (Hons) in Economics from Nottingham Trent University between 1998 and 2001.
