Jason Paterson

Jason Paterson, MBA has a diverse work experience in various industries, with a focus on ski resorts and economic development. Jason has held leadership roles such as President & CEO at Ski Marmot Basin, where they oversaw all aspects of operations and maintenance. Jason also served as the Executive Director of Community Futures West Yellowhead, where they focused on financing and entrepreneurial development. Additionally, they worked as a Business Analyst at Community Futures Grande Prairie & Region, providing consultation and access to capital for small and medium-sized enterprises. Jason has also worked as a Business Consultant and Research Manager in their earlier career. With over 20 years of experience, including 8 years as a General Manager at Nitehawk Ski Area, they have a comprehensive understanding of the ski and recreation industry.

Jason Paterson, MBA, has a diverse education background. Jason obtained an MBA in Executive Management from Royal Roads University from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Business Administration at Northwestern Polytechnic from 2003 to 2005. In 1994 to 1996, they earned a Diploma in Ski Resort Operations and Management from Selkirk College. In addition to their educational achievements, Jason also holds certifications as a Certified Business Analyst and a Certified General Manager from the Community Futures Leadership Institute.
