Chris Ortega has over 12 years of work experience in various roles. In 2009, they began their career as a Warehouse Manager at Nutrition Zone. In 2012, they worked as a Press Operator at K&S Industrial Tire. In 2014, they were promoted multiple times at B. Braun Medical, serving as a Materials Coordinator, Cost Analyst, and Manufacturing Supervisor in two departments. In 2017, they became an Operations Manager at FreshPoint, Inc., supervising three managers, five supervisors, and 50 hourly employees. In 2019, they were a Program Manager at AMRO Fabricating Corporation, overseeing six supervisors and 100 hourly employees. In 2020, they were a Senior Operations Manager at ModusLink, supervising five direct reports and 75 hourly employees. Currently, they are the Director of Operations at MARQ Labs, overseeing manufacturing and distribution operations within multiple FDA registered facilities, supervising 120 employees, and achieving an average of 25% YOY increase in daily production.

Chris Ortega obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration, Management and Operations from California State University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts Degree in Mathematics and Science and an Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from Santiago Canyon College between 2009 and 2011.
