Jesse N. Clark

Jesse N. Clark is a Co-Founder and CTO at Marqo, where a unified embedding generation and search engine for text and images is developed. Previously, Jesse served as a Lead Machine Learning Scientist at Amazon, focusing on robotics AI and leading machine learning research for new Alexa technologies. Prior experience includes work as a Principal Scientist at Stitch Fix, where Jesse created algorithms that significantly reduced warehouse worker walking distances. Jesse's early career involved contributions as a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science, a Peter-Paul Ewald Research Fellow at Stanford University, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at University College London, specializing in iterative algorithms and optical physics. Jesse holds a PhD in Physics and a Bachelor of Space Science (Honours) from La Trobe University.
