Previously, Scott held the role of Multimedia Producer/Editor at NBC Sports Chicago from May 2012 to January 2020, overseeing digital video production and developing original programming. Scott's career began with internships at NFL Films and the Southern Illinois Miners, complemented by experiences at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, where as a Graduate Assistant, Scott played a key role in launching the Video Services Program. Educational qualifications include a degree in Radio/Television from Southern Illinois University, along with marketing courses.
