Casey Leigh Thompson

Casey Leigh Thompson, SHRM-SCP, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at W New York Union Square since February 2020 and has been a Choreographer for The Broadway Workshop, LLC since 2008. Prior to this role, Casey worked as the Director of Human Resources at Marriott International from August 2018 to February 2020 and held several positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. from December 2008 to August 2018, including Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Coordinator. In addition to a strong background in human resources, Casey has experience in the performing arts, having been a Swing Performer in Legally Blonde the Musical from 2008 to 2010 and a Musical Theater Teacher at The NOCCA Institute from 2006 to 2007. Early career experience includes serving as the Entertainment Manager and Show Creator at Six Flags New Orleans from 2003 to August 2005, where responsibilities included designing and creating entertainment for park operations. Casey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from Louisiana State University, earned in 2003.
