Jose Gonzalez

Jose Gonzalez currently serves as Vice President of Development and Conversions for CALA at Marriott International since January 2024. Prior to this role, Jose held various management positions at Marriott Hotels, including Area General Manager overseeing multiple hotel brands in Puerto Rico, Country Manager for Venezuela with oversight of JW Marriott Caracas, and General Manager at both Marriott Frenchman's Reef and the Costa de Sauipe Complex in Brazil. Jose's earlier experience includes roles at InterContinental Hotels Group and InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, where responsibilities ranged from General Manager to Director of Food and Beverage. With a career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Jose has demonstrated leadership across diverse markets and hotel brands.
