Ty Breland

Ty Breland serves as the EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer at Marriott International, overseeing Talent Development, Organizational Capability, and Global Development. With extensive experience in various HR leadership roles, Ty has played a crucial part in the successful merger of Marriott and Starwood as the Global HR Integration Officer. Ty's previous positions include Regional Vice President HR for the Americas - Eastern Region, Global HR Officer for Sales and Revenue Management, and Vice President HR for Global Sales and Marketing. Ty's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and a BS in Psychology, both from Virginia Tech.
