Laura Samarze

Laura Samarze has extensive experience in investment and banking, currently serving as Manager of Investments at MaRS Investment Accelerator Fund since September 2024. Prior to this role, Laura held the position of Director of Technology & Innovation Banking at National Bank of Canada from September 2023 to July 2024, and served as Vice President of Credit Solutions at Silicon Valley Bank from September 2021 to September 2023. Laura's earlier career included roles such as Manager of Innovation Banking and Associate in the Rotational Program at CIBC from August 2016 to July 2021. Laura holds an Honour's Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Strategy from Smith School of Business at Queen's University and completed an academic exchange at Louvain School of Management.
