René Roos

René Roos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in firmware and signal processing, currently serving as Co-Founder and Secretary of Marsden Park Galaxy FC since June 2019. Prior to this role, René held various leadership positions at Cochlear from January 2004 to December 2024, culminating in the role of Director of Firmware and Signal Processing. Responsibilities included restructuring teams for enhanced efficiency, managing large global teams, and overseeing significant budgets and resource planning. René's foundational career began with positions including Senior Firmware Engineer at NXP Semiconductors and a sales advisor role at Paradigit Computers. René holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
