Manoj Patel

Manoj Patel, MEng MRAeS, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in avionics and systems engineering. Currently serving as Senior Engineering Lead for Systems and Software at Horizon Aircraft since September 2024, Patel previously held the position of Senior System Architect and Avionic and Electrical/Electronic System Design Engineer at Marshall Futureworx from August 2015 to September 2024. With over six years of experience, Patel specialized in integrating innovative power, cooling, and mission systems for airborne platforms, authoring Interface Control Documents for systems integration. During the final year at Loughborough University, Patel participated in a team project for the IMechE UAS Challenge 2015, focusing on autonomous unmanned aircraft systems. Patel's engineering journey began as a Placement Student at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, contributing to avionics design on special mission projects.
