Benjamin Lerner

Benjamin Lerner is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Analyst in Long/Short Equity at Marshall Wace since October 2022. Prior to this role, Benjamin was an Investment Manager focusing on Thematic Equities at Pictet Asset Management from October 2019 to September 2022 and also held the position of Graduate in Thematic Equities. Earlier experiences include a M&A Summer Internship at Fineurop Soditic S.p.A. and an Associate role at Bloomsbury Capital while studying. Benjamin began the professional journey as a Junior Investment Analyst at Banca Ifigest, where responsibilities included contributions in parallel to studies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi. Additionally, Benjamin studied as a visiting exchange student at the University of Chicago and at the Chicago Booth School of Business, and holds Maturità Scientifica from Liceo Scientifico Statale "A. Volta," along with a degree in Cello from Conservatorio di Milano.
