Harster Guo

Harster Guo is a DataOps Engineer at Marshall Wace since May 2023. Previously, Harster served as Quantitative Developer Lead at Citadel from September 2021 to May 2023, focusing on the Asia Crude Oil and Product trading desk. Before that, Harster worked at Macquarie Group from November 2009 to June 2021, holding various roles including Senior Manager and Head of Singapore Central Risk, as well as a Senior Manager in commodity trading software development. Earlier experience includes an internship at IBM in customer relationship management. Harster holds a Master of Commerce in Finance and dual Bachelor's degrees in Software Engineering and Commerce with a focus on Management Accounting, all obtained from UNSW.
