Ryan Lewis

Ryan Lewis is a seasoned quantitative developer with extensive experience in quantitative research and software engineering. Currently at Marshall Wace since January 2021, Ryan previously held positions as a quantitative researcher at Jump Trading LLC and a senior software engineer at Ayasdi. Education encompasses a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Stanford University and a dual BS/MS in Applied & Computational Mathematics from Rochester Institute of Technology. Research background includes work in computational topology, with significant contributions to persistent homology and the development of algorithms for mesh problems in differential equations. Ryan's early experiences include academic roles as a doctoral student at both Stanford University and Dartmouth College, along with a stint at Argonne National Laboratory as a Givens Associate.
