Sandy Beatty

Sandy Beatty, CFA, currently serves as an Investment Analyst at Marshall Wace since August 2023. Prior to this role, Sandy was an Equity Research Associate at Morgan Stanley, specializing in Fintech and Payments from June 2018 to August 2023, and also worked as an Equity Research Sales/Prime Brokerage Analyst as a self-employed professional from August 2012 to June 2017. In addition to a strong finance background, Sandy is an accomplished sailor, having competed with aspirations to represent Canada at the 2016 Olympics, winning the 2013 Canadian National Championship, earning the 2014 Bill Burke Award, and achieving a peak world ranking of 98 while participating in multiple world championships. Sandy's educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University and a high school diploma from Upper Canada College.
