Tom Powell

Tom Powell is an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer currently employed at Marshall Wace since January 2015. Previously, Tom worked as an Independent IT Infrastructure Consultant at Decura from January 2013 to January 2015, providing consultancy services for a greenfield office and data centre build-out. Tom's career includes significant roles at Man and GLG Partners, where expertise in VMware, Citrix, and infrastructure design and engineering was demonstrated. Tom's early career featured positions at Sequel Business Solutions Ltd and Eastwood and Partners, where responsibilities included technical consultancy and IT management. Tom holds a 1st BSc (hons) in Computer & Network Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, obtained between 2000 and 2003.
