John Christen has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. John started their career in 2001 as a Process Improvement Engineer at Genesis Systems Group. Later, they worked at Emerson Process Management/ Fisher Controls Intl. LLC as a Senior Global Manufacturing Engineer. John then joined the Philip Hayden Foundation as a Financial Manager/Staff Manager. After that, they returned to Emerson Process Management/ Fisher Controls Intl. LLC in different positions, including Engineering Project Planner, Project Manager, Global Supply Chain, and Manager, Global Project Procurement. In 2014, they joined Marshalltown Company as the Director of Purchasing and later became the Plant Manager. Currently, they are the Director of Iowa Operations / Engineering at Marshalltown.
John Christen earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University of Science and Technology from 1997 to 2001. John then pursued further education at the same university, completing a Masters of Engineering degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Systems Engineering from 1997 to 2001.
