Joe Hall Acma

Joe Hall ACMA, CGMA has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Accountancy Assistant (Apprenticeship) at Sandwell Council from September 2005 to August 2008. Joe completed the AAT professional Accountancy Qualification during this period.

Afterward, they worked as a Project Monitoring Officer at Greets Green NDC (Sandwell MBC) from August 2008 to July 2009. In this role, they were responsible for project appraisal, objective setting, and monitoring the finances and milestones of community-led projects.

From July 2009 to March 2018, Joe worked at Walsall Council as a Senior Accountancy Officer. Joe held various positions supporting different directorates and management teams, such as Treasury Management, Financial Planning, Adults & Children Social Care Directorates, and the Corporate Resources Directorate. Joe handled multiple projects, restructures, and savings schemes. Notably, they integrated the Public Health service into the Authority and achieved significant savings.

Joe then joined Total Training Company (UK) Ltd as a Finance Manager from March 2018 to January 2020. Following that, they served as an Interim Finance Manager at Birmingham City Council from January 2020 to September 2020. In both positions, they demonstrated their financial expertise and contributed to the organizations' financial management.

Most recently, Joe took on the role of Senior Financial Accountant at Carl Zeiss Vision from September 2020 to October 2022. Currently, they are the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Marston's PLC, where they have been working since November 2022.

Joe Hall ACMA, CGMA obtained their CIMA professional qualification from BPP University between 2013 and 2016. In addition, they have also received certifications in SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting Overview and Getting Started with Power BI from LinkedIn in 2022. In 2020, they obtained the Digital Mindset 2020 certification from AICPA.
