Lauren Espy, MPH, serves as the Director of Equity and Community Programs at MLK Community Healthcare since March 2018, where leadership involves designing and evaluating community programs focused on health disparities and equity enhancement. Previous roles include managing community initiatives, overseeing COVID-19 vaccination campaigns, and coordinating hospital-wide community benefit efforts. Lauren's early work involved consulting for the DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education and coordinating programs at Children's National Medical Center. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University and a BS in Natural Science from Loyola Marymount University.
