Conor Delaney, CEO and President of Martin Memorial Health Systems Inc., has a long and distinguished history in the medical field. Conor has worked as a professor of surgery at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, as well as holding the position of interim-chair of the department of surgery at University Hospitals of Cleveland. In 2015, they became chairman of the Digestive Disease and Surgery Institute at Cleveland Clinic, a position they held until 2020. Conor is also a founding member of Socrates Analytics. Throughout their career, Conor Delaney has been an advocate for improved patient care and innovative approaches to medicine. Conor Delaney studied at the University College Dublin, where they obtained their MB BCh BAO, MCh, and PhD in Surgery. Conor then did a research fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh before completing their intercollegiate boards in surgery through the Higher Surgical Training Scheme at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Conor is currently a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
