Jose Morais

Jose Morais currently serves as the COO and Diretor de Operações at Martinelli Advogados, overseeing various operational processes. In addition, Jose has been a Member and Investor at Insper Angels since August 2021, focusing on investment analysis for startups and angel projects. Previously, Jose held the positions of COO/CFO at Amorim da Costa Participações, where responsibilities included financial and operational strategy for a Brazilian investment group, and CFO at Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados, managing the strategic direction of the financial department. Earlier experiences include roles as Executive Director at RLAC Advogados, Revenue Cycle Senior Manager at Barbosa, Müssnich & Aragão Advogados, and various finance-related positions at Telefonica, Oi S.A, KPMG Brazil, and Arthur Andersen. Jose holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Financial Markets from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa and a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, complemented by psychoanalysis training at CEP.
