Erika Martinelli is an experienced researcher in the field of food sciences and technologies, currently working in R&D at MartinoRossi S.p.A. since November 2021. Prior to this role, Erika served as a research fellow at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where Erika was awarded the Invernizzi Research Scholarship in 2021. Erika's academic background includes a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Food Sciences and Technologies from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. Additional professional experience includes work as a waitress at SOLEBISTRO, a thesis project focused on optimizing cellular assays for antioxidant activity prediction, and a laboratory technician internship at LABORATORI VAILATI S.R.L. In 2014, Erika furthered understanding of agricultural symbiosis during a summer school program at the Life Learning Center in Bologna.
