Rodrigo Beceiro

Cofounder & CTO at Marvik

Rodrigo Beceiro has diverse work experience in various industries and positions. Rodrigo co-founded Marvik in 2018 and currently holds the position of Cofounder & CTO. Rodrigo also serves as an Event Ambassador at deeplearning.ai since 2020. In 2018, they co-founded Botia, a company focused on AI trainings for both tech and non-tech professionals. Prior to these entrepreneurial roles, Rodrigo worked at AstroPay LLP as the Head of Operations and also as IT Operations. Rodrigo briefly worked as a Business Developer at Connectus Medical Group in 2016. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Technical Lead at Ledonford (Trillonario / Wintrillions). Before that, they worked as an Electronic Specialist at CCC Medical Devices from 2012 to 2014. Rodrigo also served as a Research Assistant Professor at Syrium On-Line from 2011 to 2012. Rodrigo'searlier roles include Software Developer at EviMed from 2009 to 2011 and Research Intern at Universidad ORT Uruguay in 2009.

Rodrigo Beceiro's education history begins in 2004 with the completion of a First Certificate Exam (FCE) from the University of Cambridge. In 2005, they completed the International General Certificate Secondary Exam (IGCSE) from the same institution. Rodrigo then attended the Hampstead School of English in 2006, followed by the University of Cambridge in 2008, where they completed the Cambridge Proficiency Exam (CPE).

Moving on to higher education, Beceiro attended Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2008 to 2013, where they obtained a degree in Telecommunications Engineering. In 2011 and 2012, they received their High School Diploma from Instituto Juan XXIII, focusing on Engineering. In 2016, Beceiro became a Certified Scrum Master after completing a program at Scrum Alliance.

Beceiro then pursued further education in the field of technology and engineering. Rodrigo completed a Master of Technology (MTech) in Technological Business and Administration at Universidad ORT Uruguay from 2015 to 2017. In 2017, they also obtained an Artificial Intelligence Nanodegree from Udacity.

In 2019, Beceiro participated in the Deep Technology Bootcamp at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), focusing on Engineering Technology. Rodrigo further enhanced their skills by obtaining additional certifications, including the negotiation skills course "Negotiation Skills: The MIT Mutual Gains Approach" from MIT xPRO and the Amazon Skill Development Course from Udemy.

Finally, Beceiro attended the workshop "Conversation API con IBM Watson" offered by Cognitiva IBM Watson Strategic Partner. However, specific information about the obtained month and year for the Udemy and Cognitiva certifications is not available.
