Sarah Strauch, Senior Associate and Director of Accessibility at Marx|Okubo, uses her meticulous surveying skills and in-depth knowledge of the ADA, FHA, and state and local code requirements to provide clients clarity about conformity with federal laws. She develops plans of action through an opinion of cost, timeline scenarios, drawings, project bidding, and management. Sarah is responsible for a broad range of accessibility services such as surveying for ADA Title II Transition Plans for government entities, such as the City and County of Denver, design and constructability reviews, work-in-place verification, owner’s representation, construction observation services, repair design, and drafting, construction administration and property condition assessments.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in fine art from the Rhode Island School of Design and a master’s in architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture. Sarah is an ICC Certified Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner, an APA-ADA Specialist, and an APA-ADA Transient Lodging Specialist. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Accessibility Professions Association.
