Olesia Makhonko is an experienced Senior Creative Gerber Pattern Cutter with a wealth of experience in the fashion industry. Currently at Mary Katrantzou since January 2018, Olesia has successfully created complex draped patterns for the AW18 catwalk collection. Previous roles include Senior Couture Pattern Cutter at GYUNEL Couture, where intricate gown patterns were developed for Paris Couture Fashion Week, and Senior Creative Pattern Cutter positions at notable brands such as Peter Pilotto, Victoria Beckham, and Alexander McQueen, creating bespoke garments for VIP clients. Olesia possesses a strong educational background in fashion design and marketing, holding degrees from prestigious institutions including Glasgow Caledonian University and Kiev National University of Technology and Design.
