Armand Walters

Armand Walters possesses extensive experience in financial accounting and management, currently serving as Controller for the Maryland Economic Development Corporation since January 2023. Previously, Armand held the position of Director of Finance at Roland Park Place, where responsibilities included the preparation of monthly financial statements and oversight of bi-weekly payroll. With a strong background as a Senior Staff Accountant at Aurora Health Management, Armand managed financial statements for multiple healthcare facilities and executed month-end close processes. Additional roles include Senior Accountant at Mid-Atlantic Health Care, Assistant Controller at White Oak Senior Care, and Senior Corporate Accountant at Laureate Education, Inc. Armand holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from Morgan State University.
