Timothy Ford

Managing Director, Environmental Operations at Maryland Environmental Service

Mr. Ford has 35 years of solid waste experience with private sector companies Browning Ferris Industries, Veolia, and USFilter. He has significant technical and operational experience in solid waste organics, total waste management, solid waste collection, landfill management, hazardous waste management, project management, permitting, and health and safety issues. In his role as Acting Managing Director, Mr. Ford is responsible for the group’s solid waste management operations including recycling and composting, landfill operations and engineering, power and steam plant operations, and environmental monitoring projects. Mr. Ford has a Bachelor of Science from the Pennsylvania State University and is active in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of SWANA, serving as a Director and current past President.
