Anne Holtz Schmick

Anne Holtz Schmick is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations, community outreach, and project coordination. Currently serving as the Capital Projects Coordinator for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's Department of Parks and Recreation since May 2023, Anne is focused on enhancing community engagement and marketing for capital projects in Prince George's County. Previously, as Director of Communications at Home Innovation Research Labs from December 1996 to May 2023, Anne managed media outreach to inform various stakeholders about the organization's services in the residential construction industry. Prior roles include Event & Promotions Specialist at the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and Public Relations Assistant at Ardrey, Inc. Anne holds a Master’s degree in Public Communication from American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communications from Rutgers University.
