Sandy Bell has extensive experience in legislative advocacy and leadership roles, currently serving as the Legislative Director for the Maryland National Organization for Women since May 1999. In this position, Sandy chairs the Legislative Committee, focusing on passing legislation to enhance the lives of women and families in Maryland. Prior roles include serving as Executive Vice President, President, and Action Vice President at Woman Corp from December 2022 to July 2024. Sandy also worked at The Washington Post as a Feminist Oma and held multiple positions in sales and marketing, including roles at The Washington Daily News and as an Administrative Assistant in Marketing & Research. Sandy holds an Associate of Arts degree in Arts and Sciences from Prince George's Community College and completed studies at Bladensburg Senior High from 1965 to 1967.
