Rachelina Bonacci

Rachelina Bonacci is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and organizational leadership. Currently serving as a Public Information Officer for the Maryland Stadium Authority since 2017, Rachelina develops and implements strategic communications to inform stakeholders about the agency's mission in managing sports, entertainment, and education facilities in Maryland. Previously, Rachelina was the Chief Executive Officer of Visit Howard County from 2003 to 2016, where advocacy efforts led to a significant increase in funding for destination marketing initiatives. Earlier in Rachelina's career, roles included Sales Coordinator at Hyatt Hotels Corporation, managing high-profile client events, and Assistant Manager of Customer Service at Southwest Airlines, overseeing a large workforce and ensuring communications during operational challenges. Rachelina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, along with further education from Georgetown University and The George Washington University.
