Joel Selanikio

Joel Selanikio is an accomplished physician and technologist with extensive experience in healthcare and global health. Currently serving as Principal at Future Health Live since June 2015, Joel delivers keynotes and consulting services focused on the intersection of technology and healthcare. As CEO and co-founder of Magpi, Joel co-invented a mobile data collection system and has been a pediatric attending physician at Georgetown University Hospital since 2003. Recent roles include Primary Care Pediatrician at Mary's Center and Clinical Lead for FEMA's COVID-19 Mass Vaccination Site Assistance Teams. Joel's expertise extends to advising organizations such as the World Health Organization and the Linux Foundation on public health issues, particularly in response to COVID-19. Education was completed at Brown Medical School where Joel earned an MD in Medicine.
