Jens Maier

Jens Maier is an experienced Konstrukteur with a career spanning over three decades in the engineering field. Since October 2004, Jens has been employed at Maschinenfabrik Herkules. Prior to this role, Jens worked at Magnesiumguss Leipzig from October 1997 to September 2004, focusing on the construction of low-pressure die-casting machines for magnesium alloys. Jens also has experience from Hidrostal Pumpenbau, where responsibilities included the design and planning of wastewater pumps and pump stations from July 1990 to July 1996. Earlier in career, Jens served as an Instandhaltungstechnologe at Metallgusswerk Leipzig, handling general repair planning for melting operations from September 1988 to June 1990. Educationally, Jens obtained a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) in construction of gearbox technology and hydraulics from Fachhochschule für Maschinenbau Leipzig (1985-1988) and completed training as an Instandhaltungsmechaniker with Abitur at Berufsschule ZW Regis-Breitingen (1979-1982).
