Jeff Cathey

Jeff Cathey is the current Director of Capitol Projects & Construction at Maschmeyer. Jeff has over 11 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on concrete and building materials. Prior to their current role, Jeff served as the Building Materials Manager for Maschmeyer Concrete Company. In this role, they were responsible for growing the company's newly established building materials division, managing sales, rebar fabrication, product lines, inventory, and distribution. Under Jeff's leadership, the division became one of the most successful in the company. In their current role as Director of Capitol Projects & Construction, Jeff is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Maschmeyer's construction projects, from start to finish. Jeff works closely with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure that each project is completed on time and within budget. Jeff also manages a team of sub-contractors and vendors, and is responsible for purchasing all materials and equipment used in Maschmeyer's construction projects. Jeff is a certified general contractor and has a proven track record of successful project management.

Jeff Cathey has a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) from Middle Tennessee State University in the field of Concrete Industry Management. Jeff is also a certified general contractor from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation and an FDOT batch plant operator. Additionally, they have certification from ACI as a concrete field testing technician and a concrete flatwork finisher technician.
