Paolo Lazzari

Paolo Lazzari is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in structured finance and project finance. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Masdar since May 2016, Paolo previously held the position of Associate Director at WestLB AG for over 16 years, where responsibilities included managing the origination team for Project-Export Finance in Italy and overseeing financial modelling, negotiation, and the credit approval process across various sectors such as Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, and Real Estate. Earlier roles at WestLB AG involved overseeing execution and closing of buyer’s credit and managing risk and loan administration. Paolo holds a degree from Università Bocconi, obtained between 1992 and 1998.
