Usman Ahmad

Usman Ahmad is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in project development and finance, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Masdar since October 2018. Prior to this role, Usman held positions as Senior Legal Counsel and Legal Counsel at Mubadala from October 2018 to November 2022. Usman also served as a Senior Associate at King & Spalding from October 2014 to October 2018, and held associate roles at Shearman & Sterling LLP, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, and Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, where involvement included project finance and general corporate matters. Usman completed a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2007 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences, obtained in 2003. Early education was completed at Aitchison College.
