Chi Wey

Chi Wey has a wealth of experience in the engineering and product design fields. Chi began their career in 2005 as a Research Associate at UCLA Applied Mathematic Lab. In 2008, they worked as a Silversmith at Redstart Design San Francisco and as an Intern at Volkswagen Electronics Research Lab, where they designed a custom rapid cooling prototype system for LED head lights. In 2009, they took a position as a Systems Engineer at Physical Optics Corporation, followed by a role as a Product Engineer at Foxconn in 2010. In 2012, they moved to HTC as a Product Design, and in 2014 they became a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Tesla Motors. In 2016, they joined Amazon Lab126 as a Senior MPM and Senior Product Design Engineer, where they were responsible for product design lead, architecture development, and advanced products. Most recently, in 2021, they became the Hardware Lead at Mashgin.

Chi Wey completed a Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles from 2003 to 2007. Before that, they attended \u5e2b\u5927\u9644\u4e2d and Saratoga High School.
