Vignesh Balasubramanian

Vignesh Balasubramanian, Ph.D., is a Senior Algorithm Engineer at Masimo since May 2021, where work focuses on advanced algorithm development. Prior to this role, Vignesh served as a Biomedical Data Scientist at Alertgy from June 2018 to April 2021, applying data science techniques to dielectric spectral data and collaborating on custom data structures for molecular analysis. Vignesh also held positions as an AI Developer and Graduate Student Assistant, where responsibilities included designing experiments and supporting research at the Florida Institute of Technology, while earlier experience includes grading for a graduate course at the University of Southern California. Vignesh earned a Ph.D. in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology, a Master's degree from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology.
