Derek Lam

Derek Lam is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment and financial analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Finance at Mask Network since 2023, Derek previously worked as an Investment Partner at Altive from 2021 to 2023. Derek held the position of Vice President on the Principal Investments Team at Sun Hung Kai & Co. Limited from 2018 to 2021, focusing on fund and direct investment opportunities in sectors such as TMT, healthcare, fintech, and consumer in greater China. Earlier experiences include serving as an Associate at Paradigm Capital (2016-2018) and a Senior Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs (2014-2016), as well as an Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas (2013-2014). Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Mathematical and Computational Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics (First Class Honours), both from the University of Oxford.
