Katarina Starcevic

Katarina Starcevic has a diverse work experience in the field of language strategy and research. Katarina currently holds the position of Vice President at maslansky + partners, which they have been serving in since February 2023. Prior to that, they held roles such as Senior Director and Director at the same company. Before joining maslansky + partners, Katarina worked as a Senior Language Strategist, Language Strategist, and Associate Language Strategist at the company.

In addition, Katarina has also gained experience through internships and research assistantships. Katarina interned at the Linguistic Society of America and worked as a Language Strategy Intern at maslansky + partners. Katarina also served as a Research Assistant at the Linguistics Department of Georgetown University and at the Social Interaction Research Group. Katarina was involved in studying the language of women's friendships and gained experience in cognitive neuropsychology as a Research Assistant at the Center for Aphasia Research and Rehabilitation, Georgetown Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab.

Katarina Starcevic completed a Master's Degree in Language and Communication from Georgetown University between 2015 and 2016. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics and Japanese from Georgetown University, graduating summa cum laude between 2011 and 2015. Katarina also took coursework in Advanced Japanese and Japanese Linguistics at SOAS University of London in 2013. In addition, they participated in the Princeton in Ishikawa program, a Japanese Summer Language Program at Princeton University, although the start and end years for this experience are not provided.
