Laquin Alexander

LaQuin Alexander is a seasoned producer and executive with extensive experience in the production industry. Currently serving as a Producer at Mass Appeal since January 2021, LaQuin manages projects from development to distribution and oversees budgets ranging from $200K to over $4 million. As the Founder and Executive Producer at Shaded Media Group, LaQuin leads teams of over 50 staff and freelancers, acquiring intellectual property and developing various projects. Previous roles include Production Manager, Digital Producer, and Production Coordinator, with notable credits on projects such as "Welcome to Rap City," "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj," and various documentaries. LaQuin holds a Master’s Degree in Television, Radio, and Film from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Radio and Television from Brooklyn College.
