Emily Goldenberg is a Design Director with MASS Design Group now based in the Boston office. Since joining MASS in 2016, she’s contributed to the National Memorial for Peace and Justice and the New Redemption Hospital and its adjoining Education Center. She recently spent four years in our Kigali office working on the African Leadership University and managing the design and construction of the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Her work focuses on engaging partners and project teams in the design process and developing design solutions that advocate for the conservation and health of our planet.
Prior to joining MASS, she worked as a Designer at Sasaki and was involved in several large scale projects spanning from recreational sports facilities to library learning environments. Emily received her Master’s degree in Architecture at Roger Williams University where she was awarded the Master’s Thesis award for her work on informal architecture and slum redevelopment for a potters community in Dharavi, Mumbai, India.
