Alia Samad-Salameh

Alia Samad-Salameh, JD, CCEP, currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Labor Strategy at Mass General Brigham since September 2023. Prior to this role, Alia held various significant positions at Amazon from November 2019 to September 2023, including Principal for both Global Corporate Employee Relations and Global Labor Standards. Alia's experience also encompasses a tenure at Walmart as Senior Director of Employment Compliance and Director of Labor Relations, where responsibilities included labor and associate relations support for a vast network of stores and associates. Earlier career roles include Vice President of Labor Relations and Chief Labor Negotiator at SUPERVALU and various positions at Shaw's Supermarkets/Supervalu, Inc., Albertsons/Supervalu, and an attorney role at Schachter Kristoff Orenstein & Berkowitz. Alia earned a JD from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a BA in Journalism from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
