Anna Brown

Anna Brown currently serves as the SVP and Chief DE&I Officer at Mass General Brigham since January 2023. Previously, Anna has held significant roles in diversity and inclusion at Baker McKenzie as the Director of Global Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer from 2017 to the present. Prior experience includes serving as Special Attorney and Director of Global Diversity & Inclusion at Shearman & Sterling LLP from 2001 to 2016, where Anna designed and implemented comprehensive diversity initiatives. Anna began a legal career as an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP from 1990 to 1997, followed by a role as Associate General Counsel at Continuum Health Partners, where advice was provided on various legal matters from 1997 to 2001. Anna holds a Juris Doctor degree from Howard University School of Law, earned between 1987 and 1990.
