Matt Shanley

Matt Shanley is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and application development. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of Engineering at MBTA since 2018, Matt has significantly enhanced team performance and productivity through agile methodologies and mentoring. As President of Three Cycles Software and a former Senior Software Engineer at Atlas5D, Matt excelled in leading cross-functional teams and successfully launching innovative products. Prior roles include Senior Developer at ActBlue Technical Services, where Matt developed a critical Ruby on Rails application, and Lead Developer at StopBadware, focusing on web development for a non-profit organization. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and a Bachelor of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
