Charles Mack

Charles Mack is the Vice President of Software Engineering & DevOps at Union. Charles has over 17 years of experience in the software industry and has held various leadership positions at companies such as NICE Ltd, Mattersight Corporation, and eLoyalty.

Charles Mack began their career as a software developer at My Online Neighborhood in 2004. Charles was quickly promoted to software team lead at eLoyalty in 2007 and then to Director of Research & Development at Mattersight Corporation in 2011. In 2018, they transitioned Mattersight R&D into NICE Systems as the Director of Research & Development for Enlighten AI Routing.

As the steward of all aspects of the engineering cycle from runtime systems on Kubernetes to AWS build systems to Hadoop big data backend processes to automated quality tests, Charles Mack has constantly reinforced a culture of understanding, accountability, and employee support during their time at Union. Charles has also worked with a global workforce to provide quality solutions in a timely manner and has created the right kind of team and winning culture.

Charles Mack went to the University of North Texas for their BS in Computer Science. Afterwards, they got their MS in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Charles also got a Graduate Certificate in Computer Forensics from University of Central Florida. Currently, they have a Certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
