Beverly Craig

Beverly Craig is the Senior Program Manager at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Beverly has over 20 years of experience in sustainable development, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. Beverly has a passion for environmental justice and has worked with low-income communities to improve their access to clean energy.

Beverly started their career as a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist with the Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation. In this role, they helped to redevelop abandoned and contaminated properties. Beverly then moved to Dorchester Bay Economic Development Corporation, where they worked as a Sustainability and Brownfields Consultant. In this role, they managed energy benchmarking for a rental housing portfolio, conducted focus groups on weatherization and energy efficiency in affordable housing, and secured and administered grants for real estate development projects.

Beverly then joined Homeowners Rehab Inc. as an Energy Planner. In this role, they secured grant funding for lighting retrofits, heating retrofits, and renewables installations. Beverly also tracked and benchmarked energy and water use at HRI's 73 affordable housing buildings in Cambridge. In addition, they served as a LEED for Home green building consultant and managed the installation and monitoring of 9 solar PV systems and 4 solar thermal systems.

Beverly is now the Senior Program Manager at the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center, where they lead the center's efforts to support the growth of the clean energy economy in Massachusetts.

Beverly Craig has a Master of Public Policy from Harvard University Kennedy School of Government in the field of Environment and Natural Resources. Beverly also has a BA from University of Southern California in Int'l Relations & Env. Studies. Beverly attended San Marino High School.

They are on a team with Rhys Webb - Program Coordinator, Meg Howard - Program Director, and Jess Hiltz - Program Administrator. Beverly Craig reports to Galen Nelson, Chief Program Officer.
