Karalyn O'Brien

Karalyn O'Brien is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within government and legal sectors. Currently serving as the Licensing Division Chief at the Massachusetts Gaming Commission since October 2022, O'Brien previously held the position of Executive Director for OPSI Licensing for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts from July 2019 to October 2022. Prior roles include Assistant District Attorney with responsibilities in case management and litigation, E-Discovery Consultant focusing on legal document analysis, Legal Fellow at ECPAT-USA addressing child trafficking issues, and roles within the United States Senate involving legislative support and policy development. O'Brien holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from New England Law | Boston and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Politics from Whitman College.
